Some examples of “not” sentence construction used on this website:

— To say a work is “Not fiction” is not the same as saying it is “a source of inarguable, objective facts”

— To say that a photo is “not unworthy of trust” is more defensible than declaring that it is “worthy of trust”

— To refer to “a photograph that is not misrepresentative” is not the same as calling it “a photograph that perfectly represents the subject”

— To refer to “a photo that is not inaccurate” is not the same as calling that photo “the most accurate depiction of the scene”

— To refer to “a photographer that viewers do not mistrust” is not that same as calling that person “a photographer that all viewers trust completely”
