“TTG helps the public identify ‘go‑to’ image sources”
“TOZ” = TTG-only zone
Few image publishers can afford to publish only TTG-qualified images.
They will increasingly publish advertisements, feature pieces, and marketer-supplied photos that contain AI-generated content.
But image publishers can easily “wall off” on their platforms separate areas in which only TTG-labeled images are published.
These are called “TTG-only zones” (TOZ).
What are the advantages of a TOZ?
• TTG-only zones enhance the credibility of the publisher by demonstrating that the publisher distinguishes AI from non-AI images
• A TTG-only zone can be a daily resource for members of the public who don’t trust image sources that mix AI images with non-AI images
• A TTG-only zone can serve anyone looking for “go-to” image sources where they can instantly check the trustworthiness of startling images they see online
“This ‘news photo’ looks like AI; I’ll check my go-to TOZ, and if it’s not there I’ll assume it’s AI.”
