standalone camera
A “standalone camera” is just a term for what most people regarded as “a camera” during photography’s first 165 years, before the advent of smartphones: a one-purpose device, the sole function of which is recording photos (and more recently, videos) and was rarely called a “device” until mobile devices came along.
Or, as they are described in #8 of this page, standalones are “old-fashioned, single-purpose ‘cameras’ that are completely unable to make phone calls or play video games.”
