Photographs that do not depict what they appear to depict can be eligible for the TTG label if

1) they meet the first seven requirements of the Trust Test

AND

2) and are labeled with the TTG-IC version of the label at a minimum (to meet P8).

There is only one exception to this eligibility:

As per the last paragraph of P8, a photograph in which “any non-TTG-qualified image that looks like a photograph” is a primary subject is never eligible for the TTG label, regardless of how it is presented and explained.

But every other subject can be explained well enough to meet P8 if was not recorded in an ineligible way and if it first meets P1 through P7.
